Leading crypto analysts have been examining the factors influencing Bitcoin's current price trajectory, focusing on MicroStrategy's recent Bitcoin acquisition and the movements of large holders known as whales. They consider the most important factor to be the purchase of $800 million in bitcoins by MicroStrategy, which is an important factor in the growth of the price of bitcoin. According to the latest reports, MicroStrategy has strengthened its Bitcoin holding by acquiring an additional 11,931 Bitcoins for $786 million. This increased the investment company's BTC holdings to 226,331 bitcoins, worth $15 billion.

Historically, announcements of such massive Bitcoin accumulation have coincided with bullish trends in the cryptocurrency's price trajectory. However, BTC continued to experience bearish pressure, with the price heading lower after a brief surge following the announcement of its recent acquisition of MicroStrategy.

Large Bitcoin whales have also been active, transferring significant amounts of BTC to and from crypto exchanges - such actions often precede noticeable price movements, for example, massive sales of BTC by whales can trigger significant price drops. However, this price drop could open up buying opportunities for smaller investors.

In their input, the analysts used multiple indicators to analyze the current state of Bitcoin's price, showing that the leading cryptocurrency is trading between significant technical support and resistance levels. BTC found resistance at the 50-day moving average before falling towards the expected range between $62,924 and $64,235.

According to TradingView, Bitcoin was trading at $63,622 at the time of writing. Current price action reflects potential bullish pressure that could test lower levels of the expected range. If BTC falls below the low end of the expected range, it could fall further and head towards the next support level around $60,000.
